Vivo Teams Up With Rooms of Hope
On July 14th, Vivo teamed up with Rooms of Hope, an organization that builds rooms for sick children. We strapped on our work boots, grabbed some tools, and helped build a “man cave” for a young man named Joseph. Admittedly, some of us were out of our comfort zone, but that didn’t stop us from getting our hands dirty!
All Joseph requested was a place where he and his father could hang out and watch their favorite sports teams. Rooms of Hope happily fulfilled this request, but they didn’t stop there. Joseph also has two younger sisters who are helping support their older brother through his tough time. As a reward, they were given a complete bedroom makeover and a brand new swing set!
Our wonderful paint crew stepped up and were by far the dirtiest bunch by the end of the day. They laughed, they cried, and one even got paint in her eye.
The furniture building bunch tackled their assignment with a smile on their face. Some of them claimed to be experts while others looked at the directions like as if they were written in a foreign language. Luckily, the pros were able to help the newbies and they successfully put together a truckload of furniture!
The Vivo team was so thrilled to be a part of this build. Joseph’s room couldn’t have turned out any better. Each wall was covered with Golden State Warriors, San Francisco 49ers, and San Francisco Giants memorabilia. Additionally, he received a brand new 43 inch TV, 120 capacity mini-fridge, and a popcorn maker!
